GL RAS – Roof Access Door – Glass
- Ideal for turning a rooftop into a patio deck or any other application where egress is required while letting in an abundance of natural light.
- The RAS Roof Access Door is essential for any commercial or residential roof that may be difficult to access via an exterior ladder or if you want to utilize the roof top as a deck. Using high grade materials produced in North America these skylights are designed to withstand the harshest climates.
- The RAS provides ease of access with its 85° opening capability. Can be installed on a flat or sloped roof that best suits the needs of your application (glass requires min 2:12 pitch).
- Gas pistons and the ergonomically placed lifting bar make it smooth and effortless to open the door. Gas pistons hold the door securely when the door is open.
- Locking roof latch to provide security and secure seal.
- Curb supplied by others. RAS finished curb width cannot exceed 1.75” for proper installation.

- 15 standard sizes in acrylic dome and 10 in glass. Custom sizes also available.
- Note: RAS curb width cannot exceed 1.75”.

Our skylights don’t leak – the frame design is proven to repel the worst of Canadian weather, and we use high performance glazing from one of the top manufacturers in the world – North American-based Cardinal Glass Industries. Acrylic and polycarbonate are supplied by the highest quality North American manufacturer. Our skylights combine a durable extruded aluminum exterior extruded frame and a heavy duty PVC vinyl interior frame.
Our 4 sided rigid condensation gutter has been designed with additional width to allow for 100% drainage.
All our components are manufactured in North America by suppliers we have worked with for decades.
New Mississauga distribution warehouse to better serve Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes
We have relocated our eastern distribution warehouse to a newly constructed facility in Mississauga, Ontario. Columbia’s new distribution warehouse is larger and able to store a full range of ready to deliver Columbia and FAKRO products.
The warehouse is located on Meadowvale Boulevard near the 401 and Mississauga Road, providing easy highway access .
The warehouse allows us to serve Eastern Canada with greater efficiency, improved delivery times and allowing us to carry larger inventories.
