AC OSF – Vinyl Self Flashing Manual Venting Acrylic Dome Skylight
- Columbia’s Canadian made self flashing manual venting acrylic skylight provides the combined benefits of natural light and fresh air ventilation. Ideal for easy to reach locations – operate the skylight using a crank handle or telescopic pole. Cool your home by releasing trapped hot air, humidity, and expelling airborne odours and contaminates such as dust particles. The shape of an acrylic dome naturally repels water and snow.
- Self flashing skylights mount directly to the roof deck and are used in Eastern markets only. The most popular skylight for both East and West markets remains the curb mounted skylight.
- Acrylic self flashing domes are rarely used unless when matching existing or going for a certain look. Self flashing skylights must be installed on a minimum 3:12 slope, therefore the GL OSF glass is the most common solution and is more economical while providing superior energy performance.
- The skylight is operated using the supplied Crank Handle if your skylight is easy to reach, or a Telescopic Pole (purchased separately) for harder to reach locations.
- Our skylights come in standard or custom sizes (this model up to 4’ x 4’), and unlimited frame colour options – seven standard colours or custom colour matching.

The Benefit of Natural Light
- Living in the north we all need more natural daylight in our homes, particularly during the winter months when days are shorter, there are fewer hours of sunlight, and the sun is at a lower angle than during the summer.
- Natural light has been proven to increase happiness and productivity.
- Increasing the amount of natural light in your home offsets the impact of Seasonal Affective Disorder, which affects many people in the winter when they do not receive enough sunlight.
- Natural light has been shown to lower the risk of nearsightedness in children and young adults by helping the eye produce dopamine, which aids in healthy eye development.

Every aspect of the skylight has been studied, engineered, and tested.
Columbia utilizes the best materials available, including the latest glass technology.
Energy efficiency is a concern for Canadian homeowners because of our extreme climate. Columbia is the only Canadian manufacturer to offer Triple Glazing on all our skylight models, fixed and venting. We offer more ENERGY STAR® glass options than any other manufacturer.
