- FAKRO offers a low and high profile flashing systems for the FVC-S Curb Mounted Solar Venting skylight – designed to enhance the performance of the skylight. They are configured to work exclusively with FAKRO products and will give you the ultimate weathertight effectiveness.
- The flashing kits work with all sloped roof materials, such as shingle, metal, ceramic tile, slate, etc. Manufactured from the highest quality materials for durability and long life.
- Note: FAKRO curb mount skylights must be installed with FAKRO flashing on a 15° to 60° pitch roof for the warranty to be valid. Warranty not valid on a flat roof.

Flashing for Low-Profile Roofing Material (Asphalt Shingles, Flat Tiles, and Slates)
EL-C – Low-Profile Step Flashing
For use with the FVC-S curb mounted skylight
- EL-C step flashing is made from powder coated aluminum. It is used with flat roofing material up to 3/8” thick, such as shingles, plain tile, double lap roofing, slates or tar boards.
- Flashings are essential for the correct installation of skylights. Precisely designed flashing details ensure a durable and neat fit with the used roofing material.
Flashing for High Profile Materials (Metal roofs and Dimensional Ceramic Tiles)
EH-C – High Profile Step Flashing
For use with the FVC-S curb mounted skylight
- High Profile flashing is for use with high profiled corrugated roofing materials such as tiles or corrugated metal sheets up to 3 ½ inches.
- The purpose of EH-C flashing is to ensure good drainage away from the window and to provide protection from the wind.
- Flashings for FVC-S – curb mounted fixed skylights provide high durability and resistance to harsh atmospheric conditions. The standard colour is brown, which matches well with most roofing finishes.
Roof Underlayment
Made in Canada, this Skylight Roofing Underlayment is a safeguard to ensure a watertight installation. Self Adhesive membrane eliminates air currents and water infiltration.
- To be used in conjunction with EL-C and EH-C flashing kits.
- 25mil thick synthetic roof underlayment membrane made of polyolefin.
- Measures 1 Ft x 21 Ft.
- UV Protected, anti skid surface allows for a fast and safe installation in any condition.
- Sufficient roofing underlayment supplied for one skylight.
- Self adhesive activated by a release sheet.
