Skylight Replacement
Whether you are installing new skylights or replacing warped deteriorated wood skylights that require constant repainting due to excessive condensation, Columbia suggests the VCM or VSF models which feature a white, maintenance free, PVC vinyl interior frame to compliment your existing light well. Columbia skylights feature a wide condensation gutter on all four sides to eliminate damage to your skylight frame and light well walls. The Columbia exterior, powder coated frame is fabricated from a durable aluminum extrusion and will not easily dent, as do other frames made from aluminum flashing. If you have changed your roofing material and your existing brown skylight frame no longer matches, consider Columbia’s new frame colour options including: white, black, and sandalwood. Your new Columbia VCM or VSF skylights, with LoE 3-366 or Solar Reflective glass, are ENERGY STAR® certified and will result in increased energy savings for your home.
