Who are we looking for?
- An individual for the position of Outside Sales Representative covering Alberta & Saskatchewan
- This is a field based sales position reporting to the Director of Sales
- Successful candidate will call on leading big box stores, building supply yards & roofing suppliers
- We are seeking an individual that is competitive, likes to win and takes pride in their results
Job Responsibilities
- Build upon relationships with existing customers and develop relationships with new customers
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize sales ops., develop recommendations & execute sales plans
- Ensure that our product is merchandised correctly
- Conduct cold calls, online searches, prequalify, source quotation opportunities
- Conduct hands on product knowledge presentations in formal/ informal settings
- Attend trade shows and contractor events, professionally representing company
- Diligent quotation follow up
- Work cross functionally with customer service and operations team members
Job Requirements
- University degree/ College diploma
- 1- 2 years sales experience
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet)
- Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills
- Goal-oriented and accountable to meet and exceed sales targets
- Drive, passion, energy and enthusiasm!
- Calgary Home base
Preferable
- 2 years B2B outside sales experience
- Building materials background
